Blenheim Hill Farm is owned and operated by the acclaimed restaurant Blenheim in New York City.  It's a living farm with many breeds of livestock and hundreds of crops.  It is one of the largest farms owned by a restaurant group in New York.  It's not only a stunning setting for weddings and events, but also a place where you can enjoy a wonderful dinner prepared by well-known chefs, using sustainable ingredients harvested just minutes before the event.  While we are a farm, with idyllic country charm, we also pride ourselves for being a very elegant and classy venue.

Where is Blenheim Hill Farm?
Blenheim is located in the gorgeous Catskills area of upstate New York.  Under 3 hours from George Washington Bridge in New York City.  An easy ride from NYC, with mostly throughway, and scenic local roads and towns.  The area boasts of activities such as fishing, boating, river tubing, hiking and graceful spas for massage and relaxation.  Although a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the area offers an abundance of lodging and dining options, and shopping.  A little over an hour from Albany, 1 hour and forty minutes from Binghamton.  3 hours and forty five minutes from Boston.

Directions to Blenheim Hill Farm?
From the New York City, take the Palisades Expressway to the throughway (87). Exit Kingston exit 19, take route 28 to the Shandaken exit and make right over the mountain to Lexington. From Lexington, make left and go through the little towns of Prattsville, grand gorge and make a right on route ten in Stamford NY. Follow route 10 to Blenheim Hill Road: Destination is 673 Blenheim Hill Road. TIP: Follow these directions even if you are using GPS. Cell receptions is spotty along the way, but AT&T and Verizon receptions is good at the farm.

Accommodation. Where do we stay?
Our gorgeous historic farm house is available for rent for the wedding couple and their families, or the wedding party. It sleeps 20 guests.  

Most rooms have a view of the lake and feature antiques and original art throughout the house, and the original architectural features of the late 1700 estate remain intact.

The farm house also features a state-of-the-art chef's kitchen, that you can use if you like to cook some meals while staying with us. Or we can prepare all the meals for you.

For your remaining guests, there is an abundance of well-appointed bed & breakfasts and small boutique hotels sleeping up to a 200 people in the area, as close as 10-20 minutes away, but also larger places like Hampton Inn and Marriott 30-40 minutes away.  Once you are a signed Blenheim Couple, we will provide a list of all the lodging options nearby that we recommend. And you may share that with your guests. We will also make transportation reccomendations when we meet with you.

Music & Sounds
You may bring a live band or DJ, or we can provide a list of who is available in the area.  The venue fee includes basic sound set-up in the barn, for ipod and for speeches.  If you have any specific sound needs beyond what we can provide, let us know so we can quote rentals.

What about noise restrictions or time restrictions?
Blenheim Hill Farm has 150-acres of land, so we are a good distance away from our neighbors.  Music or noise is not a problem. The venue is available for as late as you would like, although there is an extra charge per person after 11PM, to cover for additional beverages and staffing (and to manage bonfires).

Where can we do the ceremony at the farm?
There are a few good spots for the ceremony: under the huge apple tree in the middle of the horse pasture, or by the pier overlooking the lake.  Ceremony chairs are included in the Venue fee. 

Do you offer catering?
We offer the most unique and high-end cuisine in the area, with our own products grown on the farm, cooked by our Michelin-rated kitchen staff.  Ask us for the various menu options and pricing packages for catering.

Buffet or seated dinners?
Buffet is a more relaxed option, and also more economical.  Full seat-down waiter service does cost more.  However it is possible, and we would customize a proposal based on your needs.

Flowers and décor?
Basic décor and lighting inside and outside, are all included, but flowers are extra, and cost depends on your budget.  We offer additional decor and flowers, for a reasonable fee, but you can bring in a florist, and we will provide reccomendations.

One day or weekend wedding?
Most couples also rent our farm house (which sleeps 20) to make the wedding an exciting weekend getaway, with hiking, fishing and boating in the lake, and swimming. Or even be a part of the harvesting in the fields. That way you are all relaxed for the wedding day.

Rehearsal dinner, brunch and breakfast?
In addition to the main reception and the cocktail hour, we also offer different options for your rehearsal dinner, or brunch, and even breakfast for your guests in the farm house. We can also host a Lakeview Rehearsal Dinner BBQ, or Barn Buffet Brunch.

Bride's Quarter and Groom's Quarter?
Included in the venue fee is a beautiful room with bathroom for the bride to dress, do hair and makeup.  And even for a little nap in an antique bed from the Civil War era.  If a second area is needed, we have a room with a fireplace for the groom and up to 6 relatives.  Most couples rent the farm house to provide a peaceful sanctuary for the couple and their families during the festivities.

Local Bus service to and from the various lodging sites is convenient, and then you don't have to have that many designated drivers. We will provide a list of local bus services as well as complete directions from all major cities.

When is the farm available?
Blenheim Hill Farm is beautiful in all seasons: spring, summer and fall, from May through October.  Most of our couples make it a destination weekend wedding with rehearsal, ceremony, reception and an optional brunch with homemade pastries, and an omelette station. Most couples are staying at the farm from Thursday or Friday til Sunday. We occasionally do host Sunday weddings as well, especially on holiday weekends. During weekdays, the farm is available for other private events. 

Bonfire is really nice because if it gets a little cooler, that warmth is welcoming. For the Afterparty, we offer a smores bar, and also mini pizzas from our Portuguese outdoor stone oven.

We have several bonfires at the farm, including a small one by the little lake, and a bigger one near the reception area.

There is a $500 fee for us to build, light, stoke and manage the bonfire. $250 for the smaller lake bonfire.
