Meet the People Behind Blenheim Hill Farm

Rooted in the land, growing fairytales.

The Founders

Blenheim Hill Farm was founded by entrepreneur-couple Min Ye and Morten Sohlberg — partners in business, love, and life.

Min, a Yale graduate and former investment banker, also holds a certificate in classic French cuisine and has become a passionate voice for women’s entrepreneurship, often speaking at national conferences.

Morten is a chef, farmer, and designer with roots in Norway and an art degree from Florence, Italy. With his Scandinavian eye for design and love of hospitality, he has spent years shaping spaces that feel both timeless and inviting.

Together, Min and Morten created Blenheim Hill Farm as the opposite of a banquet hall: a natural, sustainable, and joy-filled place where couples could celebrate in a stunning barn surrounded by ancient forests, rolling pastures, private lakes, and the very animals and crops raised on the farm.

The Farm Team

Michelin Standards, Upstate Heart

Today, Blenheim is powered by a team as diverse as the couples who marry here. Our chefs trained at our Michelin-rated kitchens in NYC, our bartenders know how to craft a cocktail that feels like you, and our service staff run weddings with precision, warmth, and charm. Farmers, managers, servers, housekeepers, planners — all under one roof, all working as one.

This matters. Because when you’re hosting one of the most important weekends of your life, you don’t want a patchwork crew who just met. You want a team that knows each other — and knows this land — inside and out.
